The crow's feet at the outer corner and the thin, crepey skin below the eye are treated with the Exion Face applicator, which warms the skin with radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound with nothing through the skin. BTL's own gallery shows the eye area among its results. The eyelids themselves are not treated: a BTL trial of a related needle applicator excluded them, and so do we. What it does around the eyes
The handpiece warms the skin to the temperature at which, in BTL's account, it builds collagen and its own hyaluronic acid. In our experience the crow's feet soften and the skin below the eye firms over the weeks after the course. It does not lift a hooded lid or remove a bag of fat, and it does not treat dark circles; the clinician says so at the free consultation and names the treatment that does.

The session and who it suits
Skin cleaned, a conductive gel, and the Face handpiece moved around the eye on the bone while the console holds the temperature, in our experience about 20 minutes for both eyes. The skin is pink and warm afterwards and you go back to your day. Someone with early crow's feet or crepey skin below the eyes who wants nothing through the skin. Not with an electronic or metal implant, and in our practice not in pregnancy or breastfeeding or over an active skin problem. The sessions page sets out the course.
