What it does on the arms
In our experience the fat layer at the back of the arm thins and the skin firms as the warmth works over the weeks after the course. Loose, hanging skin after a large weight loss is more than a course firms, and a soft layer over a triceps that has lost tone is EMsculpt NEO's area at our sister clinic. The evidence
The 2026 study of 23 patients with a device matching Exion Body measured the fat layer 22.5% thinner at three and six months, without naming the area in its abstract. No study measures the arms alone, and we say so. The body page sets out the study in full.
The session and who it suits
Skin cleaned, a conductive gel, and the handpiece moved in passes over the back and inner side of each arm while the console holds 40 to 45°C, in our experience 20 to 30 minutes for both arms. The skin is pink and warm afterwards. Someone whose weight is steady with soft upper arms they want firmer. Not over hair or scar tissue, not with an electronic or metal implant, and in our practice not in pregnancy or breastfeeding or over an active skin problem. The sessions page sets out the course.
